Machakos University invites sealed tenders from interested and eligible candidates for the following tenders and instructions provided here under:
MksU/05/2018/2019 Supply and Delivery of Kitchen Equipment for Machakos University Hotel & Conference Centre
Tender Fee: Ksh 1000
Bid Bond: 2% Of The Tender Sum
Detailed tender documents may be obtained from the Procurement Office, Main Campus, Machakos University during normal working hours, from Monday to Friday between 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand) only. This fee is payable at the Machakos University Accounts Nos., National Bank 01020078 499 400, Kenya Commercial Bank 1137145064 and Standard Chartered 015201684602 all Machakos Branches. The documents may also be viewed and downloaded for free from the University website, www.mksu.ac.ke and www.supplier.treasury.go.ke.
Tenderers who have paid are required to obtain an official receipt from the cash office at Machakos University and immediately forward their particulars to the Procurement Office for records and for the purposes of receiving any further tender clarification and/or addenda. Candidates who choose to download the documents shall notify the Procurement Office immediately for record purposes by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Duly completed tender documents (Original and Copy) in plain sealed envelope, clearly marked with the Tender Name and Number and bearing no indication of the bidder should be sent to: The Vice-Chancellor, Machakos University, P. O. Box 136 – 90100, Machakos or dropped in Tender Box situated at the Administration Block, Main Campus in Machakos, so as to reach the
University NOT LATER THAN 10.00 A.M on Wednesday 19th December, 2018. Opening of the tenders will be done immediately thereafter at the Conference Room 10 in the presence of applicants or their representatives who wish to attend.
Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated in respective tenders supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.
The Bid Security, which must be from a reputable bank or from a Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) accredited insurance company, shall be valid for one hundred fifty (150) days from the tender opening date.
