Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development & Public Works. The Authority is responsible for the operation and management of the Port of Mombasa, other scheduled small seaports along the Coastline and inland water ways. KPA also owns and operates Inland Container Depots in Nairobi and Kisumu as well as liaison offices in Kampala, Kigali and Bujumbura. Our vision is “World Class Ports of Choice”.
In our efforts to equip young adults with skills required in modern business world and also expose them to a workplace environment, KPA is pleased to announce fifty (50) internship vacancies for a maximum period of one (1) year with effect from September 2019.
In this regard, Kenya Ports Authority is pleased to announce Fifty (50) Internship vacancies for a maximum period of One (1) Year for the financial year 2019/2020 with effect from September, 2019.
To qualify, an applicant must;
- Be a Kenyan citizen not over the age of 34 years.
- be an unemployed graduate from a recognized training institution who has completed his/her degree/diploma course or be a certificate holder of Civil, Marine, Mechanical, Electrical/Automotive Engineering or Hospitality and has not been exposed to work experience related to their area of study.
- Not have benefited from a similar program.
- Not have exited from formal employment.
Applications for internship should be supported by the applicant’s university/college or related institution’s records/certificates/transcripts.
