2016 Kenya National Construction Authority Licence Renewal Extension Notice

EXTENSION OF RENEWAL OF PRACTISING LICENCES PERIOD FOR THE YEAR 2016 /2017

The National Construction Authority is a state corporation established by the National Construction Authority Act No. 41 of 2011 (“NCA Act”) with a mandate to oversee the construction industry and coordinate its development.

Pursuant to Sec 17(5) of the Act as read together with Regulations 7 of the NCA Regulations 2014 which provides for certificates of registration, the Authority wishes to inform all contractors that renewal of their practising licences period for the year 2016/2017 deadline has been extended. This exercise will close on 31st July 2016.

Penalty for late renewal for all contractors who have not renewed their annual practising licences will be waived during this period. However the applicable annual practising licence fees will be paid in full.

Contractors are required to submit online applications for their licences renewal as per the procedure detailed in the NCA Website www.nca.go.ke . Contractors registration certificates will only be extended upon renewal of the 2016/2017 practising licences.
