Accessing Money Paid To Your Safaricom Lipa Na Mpesa Till Number
When you are issued with your Lipa Na Mpesa SIM Card you are issued with two numbers:-
The Till Number: which customers will use for making payments
The Store Number: You will use this number when you want to move money from your till account balance to your attached nominated number.
When a payment is made via your Lipa Na Mpesa Till No. You will get a confirmation as well as your client. Note that your Lipa Na Mpesa SIM will have to on and in a phone to receive confirmations.You won’t receive any confirmations on your attached phone number.
Lipa Na Mpesa Tills are connected to a nominated Safaricom number preferably the merchant’s personal or business number. This connection enables you to move money from your till balance to your Mpesa account for withdrawal via any M-Pesa agent , send the money to suppliers or do an Mpesa to Bank Deposit.
To access cash paid to your Lipa Na Mpesa Till
Go to your nominated Safaricom Number and Dial *234*7# to Access Merchant Services . Due to change in the numbering of that menu , we advise you begin by dialing *234# and then choosing Merchant Services
Under Merchant Services You will access
Withdraw cash to my number>>>Enter store number>>Enter Amount . Don’t confuse your Till No. with Store Number . Till Numbers enable your clients to pay you but your store number enables you move money to your nominated Safaricom phone number.
